I did manage to squeeze in another update before the end of the year. The statistics and the Premiership table have been updated after our 1–0 win at Southampton.
Perhaps the last major update of the year. Apart from updating this season's statistics, I have made pages for Gaël Clichy and Graham Stack. I have also transferred some players (letters A–F) to the new design. There are still plenty of player pages with the old look, mostly players who were active in the 1930s and 50s.
Another statistics update has been made. I will probably not write any more match reports, but I'll try to update the statistics every now and then.
I've finally managed to get this season's statistics updated, but match facts are still not available (I've been lazy!).

A profile of Jens Lehmann has been added.
Squad numbers for the 2003/04 season have been announced. See Seasons – 2003/04 for a complete list.
German goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund for an undisclosed fee. See Arsenal.com for
more details on the transfer:
Wenger seals deal with keeper Lehmann.
A profile of Lehmann will appear on this site in the near future (= before the start of the new season;
at least I hope to have it done by then!).
David Seaman has left Arsenal after 13 fantastic years at Highbury. He wanted one more year as first-choice goalkeeper, so he signed a one-year contract with Manchester City. Good luck, David, and thank you for your outstanding contribution. You are a true Arsenal legend!
David Seaman said: “I have given this move an enormous amount of thought and I honestly believe that the time is right for me to move on to a new challenge. (...) I want to say a special thank you to the Arsenal fans who have made Highbury feel like my own back garden when I played there.”
Oleg Luzhny's contract has expired and is available on a free transfer. This is part of what was reported yesterday at Arsenal.com:
“Oleg Luzhny is out of contract and is available on a free transfer after four years of sterling service for Arsenal Football Club. (...) He was rewarded with a new contract last summer and justified Wenger's decision to keep him on with a memorable performance in the FA Cup final against Southampton, his 24th appearance of the season. (...) Oleg has been a consummate professional throughout his time at Arsenal. We thank him for his contribution and wish him the best of luck for the future.”

Finally the new design is online! I hope you will enjoy the new look which should be easier to navigate now that the menu (which I have moved from the left to the right-hand side) appears on all pages instead of just the main page. Above the main contents at each page, there is now also another navigational aid telling you where at the site you are at the moment.
Apart from the improved navigational system, I have also cleaned up the source code — no more nested tables here! Now I'm using valid XHTML 1.0 Strict (well, except for the Netfirms banner on top of each page, but that's nothing I can do about!) together with CSS. Furthermore, the drop-down menus (which were previously Javascript-driven) are now run server-side with the help of a little CGI script. Thus, you can browse my site even if Javascript is disabled.
Note that I haven't converted all pages to the new format yet, but you can still view everything (hopefully no links have been broken during the redesign). Feel free to drop me a note and tell me what you think about this site using the feedback form (which I have already linked to three times on this page, so I'm not going to do it again)!
