My comments
From the 1971 FA Cup Final programme:
At 20 seeks his second Cup medal in only two seasons of first-team football,
having been in last year's Fairs Cup-winning side. Powerfully built and strong
in possession, he has taken a lot of pressure off Radford, with whom he forms
a formidable spearhead. Was signed professional from apprentice in November 1968.
