My comments
Incredibly fast winger who was an important figure during the 1997/98 double-winning season.
Went on to play for Barcelona, but was forced to retire from football in the summer of 2004
following a knee injury. Other highlights in his career, apart from the 1998 Double, include
a Champions League victory with Ajax in 1995. He was also part of the Dutch national team in
the World Cups of 1994 and 1998.
