It was a wonder to watch Rix play. Rix had the ability to bend the ball round the wall, and is best remembered in scoring a controversial goal against Nottingham Forest in Highbury. Rix curled the ball round the wall and Peter Shilton appeared to have saved it. The referee, however, aawarded the goal. Rix also scored from a corner against Manchester United in Highbury the same season. Rix was one of the best players to have donned an Arsenal shirt.
