My comments
From the 1971 FA Cup Final programme:
Substitute in the semi-final and replay against Stoke, he is one of Arsenal's
most experienced players with more than 250 first-team appearances. Scored
the goal that won the Fairs Cup last year, and played here in the 1968 and
1969 League Cup Finals. Signed professional from apprentice in July 1962.
Nine England Under-23 appearances.
