My comments
Brian Talbot was a hard-working midfielder who could both defend and score
goals. In the 1979/80 season, he played from start in every game –
a total of 70 games in the space of nine months! He scored one of the goals
in the 1979 FA Cup final. A year before, Talbot had won the same cup for
Ipswich, beating Arsenal in the final.
